“When it’s quiet, and I love you, I’m afraid that I’ll forget your face.”

There are certain fears that go unexpressed. Even the secondary fear of being discovered for these deep-seeded insecurities is rarely articulated. Most never reach the sun, but every so often there is one that is allowed to the surface to breathe. Soft Sight is a limited edition dos-á-dos book of letterpressed anthotypes, expressing such a fear. Organic imagery is softly exposed onto the paper, colors bleeding together and seeping though the pages. Text is impressed into these delicate stains, bringing forward clarity and vulnerability. As the thought concludes, the book cycles on itself, beginning the fear anew, perhaps as an inner monologue or an unspoken dialogue.
